Now lets add the next series.

Press with left mouse button on Add Chart Element button. Select the data and go to the chart option from the Insert menu. Click on any of the bars of this series to select the entire series.

With the line selected pick Format Selected Data Series Plot series on Secondary Axis. Then select Chart Chart Type Line. The chart will be inserted for the selected data as below.

Press with left mouse button on Lines. Select the range with two unique sets of data then click Insert Insert Column or Bar Chart clustered column. By clicking on the title you can change the tile.

There are two main steps in creating a bar and line graph in Excel. Click on the bar chart select a 3-D Stacked Bar chart from the given styles. Click on Change Chart Type or carefully right-click on the selected series takes a steady hand.

Select the data including total data and click Insert Bar Stacked Bar. For example put the Q1 and Q2 data in separate rows and then insert blank row after each group of data row and. Right-click on each series and choose Add Data Labels.
